This is a creative, hands-on after-school club where kids explore real sewing skills, build confidence, and fall in love with the process of making — all while you enjoy a flexible pickup window.
This isn't a one-off craft class, and it's not about churning out a finished product every week. It's a skill-building club designed to grow with your child, where the exploration matters more than the outcome. Whether your child is brand new to sewing or already obsessed with fabric, they'll be supported at their level and encouraged to experiment, problem-solve, and follow their creative instincts.
How It Works:
- Days: Weekly on Tuesdays, starting September 8th
- All students start together on September 8th so the whole club can explore the same techniques and projects side by side
- Drop-off after school
- Flexible pickup anytime before 5:00 PM
We provide all tools, machines, and materials and offer small groups with experienced instructors.
What Kids Learn:- How to safely and confidently use a sewing machine
- Foundational sewing skills (cutting, pinning, stitching, finishing)
- How to plan, adapt, and troubleshoot as they make
- Patience, focus, and creative independence
- That mistakes and revisions are part of the process, not a detour from it
What They'll Explore:
Kids move through techniques and open-ended making — from simple stitching exercises to hands-on projects like tote bags, pillows, accessories, and beginner garments. The focus stays on how it's made and what they discover along the way, with plenty of room for personal passion projects as skills stack up.
